Lotus Chefs began with a simple belief: the best meals aren’t only remembered for what was on the plate. We remember them for how they made us feel.

For more than a decade, we’ve had the joy of cooking on Maui for families on once-in-a-lifetime vacations, couples celebrating something big, retreat guests gathering with intention, teams stepping away together, and friends who simply wanted a beautiful meal around the same table.

Today, Lotus Chefs is an all-women team of chefs, bakers, hospitality professionals, and creatives, each bringing her own background, flavors, training, and point of view to what we do.

Our style is polished without pretension. Approachable while still feeling luxurious. Genuine warmth meets organization and professionalism.

We are thoughtful about the details without forgetting that everyone is ultimately here to eat, laugh, connect, and enjoy themselves.

Some of our favorite tables are the slightly chaotic ones.

Lotus Chefs has spent years cooking for multigenerational families on Maui, and many of us are mamas ourselves. We know that making dinner special for the adults shouldn’t require asking the kids to suddenly behave like tiny fine-dining critics. We get it.

We’ll happily simplify flavors, serve little ones first, accommodate different dietary needs, and make sure there is something everyone is genuinely excited to eat. We even bring our custom coloring books, stickers, and fresh crayons for all services.

Want to make the evening even more fun? Add a pre-dinner keiki cooking class while the grown-ups enjoy happy hour nearby. Little chefs cook with our team, learn about local ingredients, and proudly present what they’ve made to the table afterward.

Whenever seasonality and quality allow, we prioritize ingredients grown, raised, caught, and created here in Hawaiʻi, from fresh produce and seafood to local meats, sourdough, honey, jams, pastries, and other special touches.

Our menus draw inspiration from Hawaiʻi’s layered culinary history and generations of cultural exchange across the islands, alongside the backgrounds, travels, and creativity of our individual chefs.
